Edexcel - Theme 1
Theme 1 from Edexcel is about introductory microeconomics including market equilbrium, elasticities and market failure among other topics. This course includes comprehensive theory and practice via all available resources.
AQA - Macro 1
The course is an introduction to macroeconomics covering the macro year 12 topics for AQA. This includes 4.2.1, 4.2.2, 4.2.3, 4.2.4 and 4.2.5. As with all courses, the live sessions are augmented with video lessons, assessments and access to curated resources.
Edexcel - Theme 4
The course is an extension of Theme 2 and focusses more on the global economy. As this is a year 13 course, the expectations are for a synoptic understanding of macroeconomics applied to real world scenarios. The theories will be vigorously tested with appropriate homework and assignments
AQA - Micro 1
The course is an introduction to microeconomics from AQA and covers the following topic areas; 4.1.1, 4.1.2, 4.1.3 and 4.1.8.
Again the course includes comprehensive theory and practice via all available resources.
Edexcel - Theme 3
This course covers the more advanced year 13 microeconomics topics from Theme 3 and includes assesments and other resources that consolidate and develop the synoptic understanding that is required at year 13.
AQA - Macro 2
This course covers the topics from macroeconomics sections 4.1.7 and 4.2.6. It also includes a synoptic section which applies to both micro and macro topics.
As this is a year 13 course, there is a lot of emphasis on applying previous topics to real world scenarios and developing analysis and evaluative skills through weekly assessments
Edexcel - Theme 2
The course is an introduction to macroeconomics from Edexcel's Theme 2.
It introduces the concepts of GDP, inflation, unemployment and economic policies. As per all courses, it includes comprehensive theory and practice via all available resources.
AQA - Micro 2
This course covers the more advanced microeconomics topics.
Included are the sections 4.1.4, 4.1.5, and 4.1.6.
As is expected from year 13 level studies, the assessments will take on a more rigourous format focussing on the the development of analysis and evaluation skills
IB Diploma SL & HL
There are planned courses for IB SL and HL students. These will be available from March 2027.
Just like the A-level courses, they will include video lessons, quizzes, exam practice, weekly homeworks and 16 hours of live sessions per course.
