F A Qs
How do the courses work?
Students get a holistic tutoring package when they sign up for a course.
This includes the video lessons for each of the topics in the course. Assessments and quizzes along with homework plans.
Also they get access to the Whatsapp community where they can ask questions and tutors will reply promptly. Finally and most importantly, the students will recieve 12 hours of live tuition over a 4 week period.
This holistic approach allows students to get a substantial amount of high quality teaching and assessment.
How are the courses structured?
As mentioned, each course is structured over a 4 week period with 12 hours of live lessons.
Moreover, as mentioned before the other resources and assessments that have to be utilised along the way creating a multifaceted and holistic learning environment.
Students are free to pick and choose whichever course they want to take.
The courses are structured in a way that is divided into 4 courses per A-level. For each exam board there are 2 courses for year 12 and 2 courses for year 13.
Who are the tutors?
The main tutor and founder is Ali Khan (Linkedin: https://www.linkedin.com/in/ali-k-03008710 )

Pre-recorded Videos
Why do students need to watch the videos before the live lesson?
Our courses use a flipped-learning approach.
Students learn the core concepts through short pre-recorded lessons before attending the live session.
This means live teaching time can be used for what matters most: developing understanding, applying economic theory, discussing real-world examples and improving exam technique.
Homework
Will students receive homework?
Yes.
Students will receive homework and quizzes designed to reinforce the material covered during the course.
The aim isn’t just to give students more work. The activities are designed to help them recall, apply and develop what they have learned.
Who should NOT take these courses?
These courses are NOT intensive revision courses.
They are designed as a way to learn and grasp new concepts while understanding what the examiners are looking for. If you want intensive revision courses, you should look elsewhere.
Moreover, these courses are also not deigned for students to acheive A* (or 7 for IB Diploma).
If you want to achieve the top grade, you can but that is NOT the main purpose of our courses.
Our courses are more like an adjunct understanding booster to your existing economics course or a thorough introduction to the various topics and exam techniques.
When will the IB Diploma courses be available from?
We are expanding our courses and both the Economics SL and HL courses will be available from January 2027.
Who are the courses for?
Students who want to strengthen their understanding
Perhaps you understand the basics but struggle with more complex concepts.
Students who struggle with exam technique
You may know the economic theories but can’t turn it into high-mark answers.
Students who want an extra A-level
The courses are complete and structured which means you can take these as an extra A-level (IB Diploma coming soon).
Students who want to get ahead
Students can systematically work through an entire theme rather than waiting until revision season.
How is student progress monitored?
Due to the small class size, our tutors are in a position to give individualised lesson and assessment plans.
This allows tutors to adapt their strategies for each student.
If you complete all course videos, attend the live sessions, complete the assigned work and sit the final assessment, you’ll receive an individual progress review identifying your strengths and areas for improvement.
Can you explain the course pricing?
All courses are 4 weeks and 12 hours and all of them are priced at £250 per course.
Moreover there are many hours of recorded video lessons and curated resources and assessments,
We also have a few discounted admission slots (£100 discount per course). These are revealed a few weeks prior to the start of the course and are limited in number.
