About the Course
Cambridge International A-Level Micro 2 builds on the foundations of microeconomics by examining market efficiency, market failure and the behaviour of firms.
You will study externalities, private and social costs and benefits, productive and allocative efficiency, and the reasons why markets may fail.
The course also covers costs, revenues and profit, production in the short and long run, different market structures, the growth and survival of firms, and the objectives and policies of firms. You will develop the ability to analyse and evaluate how different market structures affect prices, output, efficiency and economic welfare.
