AQA Economics Micro 2

AQA Economics Micro 2 develops the study of microeconomics through market structures, labour markets, income distribution and market failure.

You as students examine perfect competition, imperfect competition and monopoly, including the behaviour of firms, barriers to entry, efficiency, pricing and profit. The course then explores labour markets, wage determination and the distribution of income and wealth, before examining the causes and consequences of market failure, including externalities, public goods, information failure and environmental problems.

You will also evaluate the effectiveness of government intervention in correcting market failure and improving economic welfare.
